Press and writers

Briefings on Flamas launches worth covering, sent to journalists, bloggers and newsletter writers. Free, and only when there is a story.

The Flamas press list sends a short briefing when a launch on the board is notable. Each one says what happened, why it stands out and what the numbers are, with a link to the listing and a way to reach the founder. It is written for someone deciding whether to cover it.

About Flamas

Flamas is a launch board that measures whether a launch worked. Products get a day on a board ranked by upvotes, every listing carries a pulse that shows whether its site still answers, and people post problems they would pay to have solved. Read more on the about page.

Questions

How often will you email me?
Only when a launch is worth covering. There is no fixed schedule, and a quiet week means no email.
Can I quote or republish your blog?
Yes. Everything on the Flamas blog is free to quote and republish with a link back to the original post.
Is this the same as the weekly digest?
No. The weekly digest lists the week's top launches for anyone who wants them. Press briefings are a separate list, written for people who might cover a launch. You can have either or both.
How do I stop the emails?
Every briefing ends with a link to your email preferences. One click turns briefings off, and you do not need an account.
Can I talk to a founder whose launch you sent?
Reply to the briefing or email hello@flamas.io. We pass the request on, and the founder decides whether to answer.

Something else? Email hello@flamas.io.
