Unprofane is an API for profanity and toxicity detection across user generated content. It identifies abusive usernames and comments, including profanity hidden behind swapped letters, symbols, and spacing in 17 languages. The API scores text for toxicity and returns a censored version ready for display. It can filter chat, usernames, comments, reviews, and bios. Unprofane is a drop-in replacement for Google's Perspective API.
