Generate YAML patches by comparing two YAML documents

The ask

Users commonly work with YAML documents and apply changes using existing YAML patching tools. These tools take a base YAML document and a patch specification to produce a modified document. There is a need for a complementary tool that can perform the reverse operation. This tool would take two distinct YAML documents as input. It should then generate a minimal patch specification that represents the differences between the two documents. This generated patch must be in a format compatible with at least one common YAML patching tool, allowing for automated application of changes.
