Provide a high-quality AI code assistant for developers

The ask

Developers seek an AI code assistant that offers performance comparable to leading models for coding tasks. Many currently available alternatives do not meet expectations for code generation, completion, and overall assistance. Users find these options fall short in delivering the desired quality and functionality. This creates a challenge for developers relying on AI for productivity. There is a clear demand for more effective and reliable AI tools to enhance developer workflows. This includes a need for better plugins, skills, and completion providers that integrate well into existing development environments.
