Searching large Mastodon following lists is inefficient

The ask

Users with many Mastodon accounts find it challenging to locate specific individuals within their extensive following lists. Manually reviewing hundreds or thousands of profiles one by one is impractical and too time-consuming. The current method requires opening each profile individually to check its details, which makes it nearly impossible to find specific people when lists grow large. There is a clear need for a way to consolidate profile information from followed accounts. This would enable users to quickly scroll through or search for keywords within profile bios, significantly improving their ability to manage their connections.
