Users need a reliable cloud photo storage alternative with family features

The ask

A user is looking for a new cloud photo storage solution after a frustrating experience with Google One's recent pricing changes. They currently have a large library of photos and require a service that can reliably back up their content. The user needs to migrate their existing data from Google Photos by a specific deadline. Key requirements include a robust phone backup application, particularly for Apple devices, and the option for a family plan to accommodate multiple users. They seek a stable service that offers better value than their current expensive plan. The user is also concerned about data integrity during the transfer process, noting potential proprietary formats.
